Yoga is such an amazing tool to bring a feeling of soothing relaxation in to your body and your mind. If your muscles are aching, tight and tired, then yoga helps to flood then with oxygen rich blood, through circulation improving movements and stretches. Muscles will increase in flexibility and tone, and knots will be eased out.
Yoga helps you find good posture and strengthen the muscles that support this on an everyday basis.
Through observation of the sensations in your body, your movement and your breath, you create a feeling of peace and bliss. Have you ever practised mindfulness? It is the same principle. And spending periods of time in a mindful state has an uplifting effect on your mood, and your positive attitude spreads like sunshine throughout your entire day!
Yoga is currently available as Private Tuition in the comfort of your own home. Areas covered for yoga Private Classes for groups or individuals include:
Locks Heath, Park Gate, Fareham, Warsash, Stubbington, Lee-on-the-Solent, Gosport, Bishops Waltham, Wickham, Hedge End, Botley, Lordshill, Bursledon, Bitterne, Shirley, Southampton, Portsmouth, Havant, Petersfield, Farnham, Aldershot, Alton, Portchester, Whiteley, Sarisbury Green, Cosham, Port Solent and other surrounding areas.
Private tuition is usually £35 per hour long class or £50 per hour-and-a-half class for three people or under.
For groups of four or more, private tuition is £10 per person for an hour class or £13 per person for an hour-and-a-half class.
Private yoga or Pilates classes may cost a little more if the travel time/distance for Kat is very long, but please get in touch to discuss your needs.
There is group class in Yogalates which is a mixture of yoga and Pilates on a Monday evening at 6.30pm at Brookfield School in Sarisbury Green. Find out more on the Yogalates page.
